Tuesday was a day full of heat and trading rumors, so how Detroit Pistons could be an exception? According to latest statement from Pistons’ General Manager, Joe Dumars, they are not going to trade their veteran forward Tayshaun Prince. Throughout this season Price played really well for his team, he played every single game of the season and scored averaged 14.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game while shooting 48% from the field and 39.1% from three-point. His average playing minutes are 33.5 per game.
Though Prince;s Contract with Detroit is about to expire at the end of this season however Joe has expresses his willingness to resign the 30 year old small forward who has been with them for the whole nine years and he played exceptionally well in the final season of his current contract with Detroit Pistons. His average scoring and shooting% age along with rebounding and assist numbers is getting better with each day passed. However Joe’s recent thoughts about Prince created a buzz and critics are surprised why Pistons are insisted to hold Prince in presence of young players such as Austin Daye and Jonas Jerebko potential enough to fill the space left by Prince. There are also rumors of conflicts between Coach John Kuester and Prince as he openly criticized his team for not having winning ability. Detroit Piston is not on a consistent winning path for all this season; they do have winnings but more losses.
