Overlooked in Sunday's win against Philadelphia was Kwame Brown's performance off the bench.

Brown had seven points and eight rebounds -- four on the offensive end -- in just more than 20 minutes of play.

"That's the kind of energy we need from him on a consistent basis," Kuester said.

Brown averages 3.3 points and 3.9 rebounds while playing 16 minutes per game.

Brown has a ton of bashers, but I for one root for him to do well.

Glad to see he's making a place for himself as a backup center with Detroit. :jam2:

3.3 points and 3.9 boards in 16 minutes?

Heck, Kwame did better than that in LA.

Can't see why Kuester keeps raving about Kwame. I'm just glad he's not dragging LA down any more.
Anybody want some Magic Johnson?
