Kwame Brown (hand) should be ready for Pistons' regular season opener
BY VINCE ELLIS

Pistons center Kwame Brown sat out Friday night’s victory over the Milwaukee Bucks with a sore left hand, but Kuester said in a text Saturday that it was just a precaution.

In fact, Kuester added that the X ray on his hand turned out OK and Brown will be good to go when the season starts Wednesday at Memphis.

Brown suffered the injury early in training camp and said this week it was getting progressively worse, but it appears that the remedy for now is rest as he missed Thursday night's loss to the Timberwolves as well.

Tayshaun Prince also rested his sprained big right toe Friday night, but he should be ready to go for the season opener next week.

Great news. :jam2:

Brown is one of the Pistons' best defenders, especially in the low blocks. They'll need him to clog up the middle. Anything he can provide offensively will of course be appreciated. :man1:

Hopefully, Brown and Prince will be able to heal in good time, so that they don't get banged while playing and get hurt even more.
