"Ben Gordon landed flat footed, so it didn't damage the ligiments in any way like Rip did," Zaret said during last night's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Zaret also shed additional light on why Richard Hamilton has missed so much time since spraining his right ankle in the season opener on October 28th.
"Hamilton came down on his toe and stretching the four ligiments and various tendons that surround the ankle joint," reported Zaret.
It's still unclear how much damage Hamilton did to the tendons, and there still hasn't been a timetable set for his return.
A University of Michigan website dedicated to ankle injuries says recovery from a severe sprain can be six weeks or longer. Considering Hamilton hasn't participated in any live drills during practice, he likely remains a couple weeks away from returning.
There's also still no timetable on when Tayshaun Prince will return to action, but there's encouraging news coming out of Auburn Hills. Prince appears to have moved into the second phase of the recovery process.

"Most of the stuff we are working on is moving side to side," he said. "Anything back and forth I am fine with. And I have not had the opportunity to go for a long period of time. I have to see when we do things like that. We are keeping it short and sweet right now. And, like you said, we are making progress."
Prince has corresponded with a number of NBA players who wanted to pass along advice. He heard repeatedly that the back is not an injury from which you want to rush your return.
"It is a situation where (the injury) can keep coming back," Prince said. "This is definitely a situation where I have to take my time, and it is frustrating because the team is not doing well right now and you want to jump out there and help them. At the same time, you have to be patient."
