AUBURN HILLS -- The 2010 NBA All-Star ballot was unveiled Tuesday, and it features five Pistons: Richard Hamilton, Ben Gordon, Rodney Stuckey, Tayshaun Prince and Charlie Villanueva.
The All-Star game is Feb. 14 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where a crowd of 80,000 -- the largest ever to see a basketball game -- is expected.
The ballot also includes several former Pistons: Chauncey Billups (Denver), Rasheed Wallace (Boston) and Allen Iverson (Memphis).
Voting at NBA.com will begin Thursday and run through Jan. 19.

Ben Wallace left off the 2010 NBA All-Star game ballot

The NBA released its 2010 All-Star Game ballot this afternoon and the Detroit Pistons are well represented with five players making the cut. One glaring omission is the resurgent Ben Wallace.
Wallace has given Pistons fans plenty to cheer about this season, averaging 9.6 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks.
Wallace's play has been more reminiscent of the player that won four consecutive Defensive Player of the Year awards than the veteran role player many fans anticipated when he signed for the veteran's minimum back in August.
Still, Wallace's unexpected hot start was not enough to crack the ballot that was determined by a veteran group of media members that cover the NBA. One can only assume that the ballots were formulated before the regular season got underway.
Pistons fans still have five players they can still put their collective voting power behind: Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, Rodney Stuckey, Charlie Villanueva and Ben Gordon.
Although he faces stiff competition from fan favorites Dwyane Wade, Gilbert Arenas and Vince Carter, shooting guard Ben Gordon probably offers the Pistons the best chance to elect a starter.
Gordon is currently fifth in the Eastern Conference in scoring, averaging 24 points a game.
