I don't smoke. Aside from being bad for the lungs, I have seasonal asthma.

I avoid public smoking places ike the plague.

Regretfully, female smokers are on my no fraternization list.

I smoke, but mostly in my apartment. Sure, smoking in a restaurant is not just a dying animal, but enjoyable. I began smoking about a 18 months ago with a 6-month break. I used to think female smokers were disgusting, but since I started the habit I have found I am drawn to people who share my weakness.

What do you think about taxing cigarettes?

Anything to drum up extra money for the state in these bad times. It could help with keeping taxes down in other areas. :man12:

Aren't most smokers poor? Don't they have to pay through the nose for health care? Why are we breaking the backs of people who are addicted?

Spoken like a true smoker, but I just wanted to give some food for thought.

It's easier said than done, but quitting the habit will save money for former smokers.

I used to smoke a lot, but I've really cut back. I haven't touched a cigarette in awhile.

When I did smoke, I smoked Marlboro 27's. Coincidentally, federal legislation is forcing Marlboro to stop making them.
