Washington Times:
Trade rumors have begun to swirl in Washington as the Wizards have struggled in the first quarter of the season.

The Wizards have a $79.18 million payroll, but are just 7-16 and have two losing streaks of six games already.

Sources told the Washington Times that teams have begun inquiring about players, specifically Antawn Jamison, but president Ernie Grunfeld is waiting for the return of Mike Miller in the next few weeks.

When Miller returns, the Wizards will be fully healthy for the first time all season.

"No, you don't want that," Gilbert Arenas said of making an trade. "When you make a trade in-season, then you seem desperate. We have the pieces. We have all the pieces we need. We just need to get them firing."

It's good to see that the Wizards' front office hasn't panicked.

IMHO, Washington doesn't have a true locker room leader and a defensive stopper, so I don't see them making good on their championship hopes.
