Luxury Tax Keeping Bulls From Adding Players

Luxury Tax Keeping Bulls From Adding Players

Chicago Sun Times:
The Bulls have two open roster spots, but adding a player would put them over the luxury tax.

Without guard Kirk Hinrich, who recently injured his thumb, Chicago has just 10 healthy players on their roster. That includes center Aaron Gray, who just returned to the active roster.

"That's something we're continuing to look at, adding another player," general manager Gar Forman said. "We're not gonna do anything as of right now, but it's something we may do as we move forward."

Wow.

The Bulls certainly are serving as an object lesson in responsible financial sports management.
