Grant Hill Isn't Aging

Seriously, guys. I think we should start calling him "Richard Alpert." Who's with me? Jack? Locke?

I'm sure that if one looks closely enough, he'll see a touch of gray in Hill's hair and some wrinkles around the eyes.

He looks the same, but he doesn't have the leaping abillity and quickness he used to have. And he's only averaging 12 points and 8 rebounds with Phoenix now. Very respectable, but not on par with what he used to be capable of.

My feelings towards Hill are mixed.

Hill is a class act. I sorta understand why he left Detroit since the fans didn't embrace him, but I would've preferred that he'd stayed. He had some terrible things happen to him in Orlando. I respect that he resurrected his career to a point in Phoenix. But I really look down on him for not returning to Detroit when he had the chance as a free agent before the '07 season. The Pistons' season that year would've been different with him as a sixth man.

In fact, the last few years of the Going to Work era could've finished on a higher note.

Hill will never win anything now. He can stop playing for all I care.

Grant's put in some good work for Phoenix, alright.

If the Lakers weren't so deep, he'd be great coming off the bench for LA.
