Boozer Regains All Star Form

Jazz forward Carlos Boozer has played tremendously in the team's last seven games.

Utah is 5-2 over that stretch and Boozer is averaging 23.6 points and 10.7 rebounds while shooting 59.6 percent.

"A hundred percent," Boozer said when asked if he was focused on being an All-Star again. "I feel like I'm an All-Star when I'm playing at the level I can play at when I'm healthy and it was one of my goals, to get back to the elite level."

He also admitted that he was pressing at the beginning of the season.

For me, I calmed down, relaxed," Boozer said. "I think it was the San Antonio game [Nov. 5, 27 points, 14 rebounds], I just chilled out and relaxed and ever since then, I've just took off."

I wonder how long it'll be before Boozer gets hurt again?

I can see it now: Boozer has an All Star year this season no matter what the Jazz do, he goes to the highest bidder and signs a max contract, then tweaks a knee and misses the next 2-3 years.

Boozer's points and rebounds don't win games, but they sure pad his stats.

I wouldn't mind him in a Piston jersey, except I think he's more loyal to himself and money than to a team, so he's not really Piston material.
