Another rough game.

Toronto came into town with their Phoenix Suns of the East act. They sport the league's 6th best offense at 103.8 points and the 2nd worse defense, allowing 107.6 points.

It didn't matter as the injury challenged Pistons struggled to score points again. Will Bynum led the Pistons with 12 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds. Fortunately, he is on track to recovering from his pair of sprained ankles. Chris Wilcox had his best game for Detroit with 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. If he keeps this up, he should get more minutes in the rotation nightly.

Jerebko and Maxiell both had 10 points and 9 rebounds. Wallace chipped in with 4 points and 10 rebounds. Stuckey was shut down by Toronto with 8 points on 3 for 13 shooting, 3 assists, and 1 rebound. Villanueva played hurt and had 0 points. At this rate, he should be shut down for as long as he needs to recover.

Gordon and/or Hamilton are hopeful for the rematch with the Raptors in Toronto on 12-27-09. But if they continue to sit out, the Pistons need to sign some players to 10 day contracts to fill in the holes in the rotation.
