This was not a pleasant game to watch.

With the return of Hamilton, Prince, and Gordon, the Pistons have been plunged back into training camp mode as those 3 work to regain their midseason form. Villanueva being hampered by plantar fasciitis and Bynum taking time off to let his pair of sprained ankles recover more didn't help.

The Pistons didn't play good defense and execute on offense for 48 minutes. They would play well for 3 minutes in each quarter and stand around for the other 9 minutes.

They let David Lee (30 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists) and Wilson Chandler (23 points and 9 rebounds) look like All Stars.

Coach D'Antoni put it right when he said that the Knicks caught the Pistons at a good time--and that the Pistons will improve in a week or two.
