After beating one of the best teams in the Eastern conference, the Pistons dropped a game to one of the worse.

The Pistons opened well, but fell flat for the rest of the first quarter, letting Indiana take a 33-19 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Pistons rallied in the second half to trail 56-45.

The Pistons showed no urgency in the third quarter, and the game got away from them. Richard Hamilton led the Pistons with 27 points, but no one else emerged to help him carry the load.

Tayshaun Prince and Coach Kuester exchanged heated words in the 4th quarter as Kuester emptied the bench. Both decined to comment afterwards.
