For 3 quarters, the game was close as the Pistons went toe to toe with the Spurs. But Rodney Stuckey left the game in the third quarter when he had his knee bruised in a collision and the Pistons committed 14 turnovers in the fourth quarter without his hand at the tiller.

The Spurs stepped up their play in the fourth quarter to outscore Detroit 35-17. Unfortunately, Detroit didn't respond.

Hamilton was one of the few bright spots for Detroit, scoring 29 points on 12 of 22 shooting.
